The adaptive secondary is operational on the new MMT since 2002.

The main features of this unit are hereafter listed:

• diameter = 640mm
• # of actuators = 336
• settling time < 1.5 ms

ADS was here responsible for the system and mechanical design of the upgraded MMT M2 unit and built it together with INAF, Microgate and MediaLario.
