ADS is part of the adaptive secondary project led by P.Salinari at Osservatorio di Arcetri since its beginning in 1993. The very first adaptive secondary mirror is the MMT 336 actuators unit which is in service since 2004. We are now building the two LBT 672 actuators adaptive secondary units and the Magellan adaptive secondary mirror. We are also in the final design phase of the 1170 actuators Deformable Secondary Mirror for ESO-VLT UT-4 Telescope. For these projects ADS is responsible for the system design and the optomechanical MAIT.
